We had a fantastic time. The staff are friendly, great atmosphere, food was absolutely perfect (starter, main and dessert), I had far too many cocktails as they were so nice too! Then to top that off, there was a singer performing soul and Motown. She was fantastic and loads of people got up dancing. I haven’t had a good night out like that for a ages. And the best bit was it was local, so I didn’t have to travel far to get home! Totally recommend!
I booked Blue Check at very short notice as we wanted to surprise our brother who was over from Canada to celebrate his 60th. I called and spoke to David the owner and he confirmed availability and sent over the party menu which had lots of choices and a great price. We agreed the details and on the 3rd Jan 2025 we held the party. My brother was surprised and we could not believe we had pulled it off. The staff were amazing serving drinks to guests on arrival and making them feel welcome. And even though there was 35 guest and we chose from the menu that night, it came out with ease. no one was waiting and everyone commented how good their choice was. The waiters were attentive and friendly and a great night was had by all. After dinner, music started playing and some of us enjoyed a boogie. Everyone had a great time and my brother was overjoyed. Thank you David to you and all your staff for the marvellous service. I wish you well and will certainly be recommending to family and friends.
A great place to celebrate any occasions. On Thursday evening, I had fantastic night out with my friends. At the restaurant, were also other groups of people celebrating their birthdays and anniversaries. They had a great singer accompanying the celebrations and singing amazing songs, so people could dance with one another. The food was good and tasty. It was a set menu for that night. Definitely worth to visit.
Seemed to be very popular. We went for Sunday lunch and were able to park right outside. There's a P&D car park closed by for other times too.
Such a beautiful restaurant and a pleasure to visit. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, a delicious menu selection and five star service from David and team. All of the food is consistently delicious, especially the cajun salmon and veg. There is also a lovely kids menu. We will be back soon!
We had my wife's 55th birthday meal at the blue check . Amazing food & very friendly staff. Every one in our party was impressed with the good & staff. They will be having another birthday booking from one of our impressed guests .
Our group The Emerald circle club, went there for Christmas lunch. A beautiful walk welcome as soon as you got to the door, a lovely lady was there to open it for you & take your coat etc. The place was spacious, very clean & a lovely ambiance. The food was plentiful & so delicious, great variety of both food & drinks. Great service, every staff member was warm & friendly. The bathroom was kept in good condition, clean, with interesting artwork on display. It was my first time; but definitely won't be my last, Please God.
I had a birthday party for 30 people. We had canspes , a three course meal , cofee, wine and soft drinks. The room looked fabulous, guests chose their meal at the table and everyone really enjoyed their food. David makes sure everything runs smoothly and I really recommend the venue.
